Wednesday 9 AM Experimental Neuropathology Conference
This conference is held at 9 am in the NP
library. Responsibility for the conference is rotated between the faculty. A
graduate student, post-doctoral fellow, or resident is assigned to each
conference. There are several
formats for presentation.
Individuals choosing to present a paper must first have that paper
approved by the responsible faculty member and then deliver the PDF file to
Karen so that she can distribute it at least a week ahead of time. Alternatively, individuals may elect to
present a study they are participating in. Presenters have the option of giving a 20-minute
uninterrupted lecture or a 40-minute
lecture that will accommodate interruptions. It is the presenterÕs responsibility to end on time. All attendees of this conference are
required to fill out an evaluation and turn that into Karen. Karen collects the evaluations and
gives them to Clayton and copies with the evaluatorÕs name cut off to the
presenter. After reviewing the
evaluations, Clayton gives them back to Karen for inclusion in the presenterÕs
personnel file.
