Our laboratory specializes in the evaluation of brain and spinal cord biopsy specimens. Routine studies on glass slides and paraffin embedded material are available. Additional studies including: Immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, electron microscopy and molecular analysis are also available.
Please include a completed Neuropathology Consultation Request Form with each submission.
How to obtain a consultation:
Effective May 1, 2025 we will not accept slides or tissue samples until an MSA has been executed between our organizations. Please contact our Consult Accessioning office at 412.647.8275 for further assistance prior sending slides or materials, as we hope to prevent the need for unnecessary returns.
